Why AddressVault exists
Every move comes with the same chore: finding every account that has your old address, logging in to each one, and hoping you didn't miss anything.
AddressVault started from living that problem across Harare, Cape Town and Normal. The idea is simple: your address should belong to you, in one place, and the companies that need it should get it when it changes. Not months later, after a missed bill.
We're building it in Normal, Illinois, starting with the people who move most: renters, students, international students and young families.
Questions
How does the free month work?
Every new account gets its first month free on any plan, with no card needed to start. We email you 3 days before it ends. If you've chosen a plan and added a card, it starts then; if not, your account pauses until you choose one. Nothing is deleted.
Is it the same as a USPS change of address?
No. A USPS change of address forwards paper mail for a limited time. AddressVault updates the accounts themselves, so your bank, insurer and subscriptions have the right address, and it keeps your full address history.
Which companies can AddressVault update?
Any service you add. Where a provider offers a direct connection, the update goes straight to them; where it doesn't, AddressVault pre-fills their form for your one-tap approval or gives you step-by-step instructions, and tracks it until it's done. Direct connections are being added with partner providers.
Can my family see my address?
Only if you're in a family group and sharing is on. You can turn sharing off any time, and each person manages their own address and services.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time in Settings. Cancel during the free month and you won't be charged. Cancel a paid plan and you keep it until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get my data or delete my account?
Yes. Settings has a full data export and a delete-account option. Deleting removes your data from AddressVault; companies you already updated keep the address they have.
